    Morgan O’Hare

    Co-Founder and Owner, Lead Teacher & Trainer

    Morgan O’Hare, cofounder of hOM, is an E-RYT 500 yoga and meditation teacher known for her creative sequencing, grounding presence, and intentional approach to community. Since 2015, she’s shared her practice with thousands of students and now leads retreats and teacher trainings around the world.

    Blending movement, breathwork, meditation, and yoga philosophy, Morgan invites deep connection and self-discovery. With a background in nutritional science and strategy consulting, she brings both clarity and playfulness to her teaching—often alongside her husband, Ryan, and their pup, Clifton.

    Ryan O’Hare

    Business Owner, Head of Growth

    Ryan O’Hare, co-owner of hOM, brings a background in software sales, strategic development, and relationship management to support the studio’s operations and long-term vision. Originally from Ireland, he moved to Austin in 2021 after living abroad in Cape Town to build a life with his wife, Morgan, hOM’s cofounder.

    A yoga practitioner of five years, Ryan views the practice as a powerful tool for strength and well-being. He played a key role in designing and building the studio, ensuring it reflects the heart of its community. His love for photography, tech, and creative problem-solving makes him an integral part of the hOM family.

    Julia Johnson

    General Manager and Teacher

    Julia Johnson, General Manager of hOM, has been practicing yoga for over a decade, exploring diverse styles in the many cities she’s lived and traveled. With 16 years of experience in education, including as a Montessori principal, she moved to Austin in 2020 and recently stepped into a new chapter, bringing her leadership and heart to the hOM community.

    She completed her first 200-hour Vinyasa training in 2018 and furthered her studies with Morgan O’Hare’s training in 2024. With a background in ballet, Julia emphasizes alignment as the key to freedom in movement and views yoga as a lifelong journey of self-discovery and growth.

    Carter Miles

    Co-Founder, Lead Teacher & Trainer

    Carter Miles, cofounder of hOM and E-RYT 500, is a dedicated yoga teacher passionate about helping students cultivate presence, awareness, and personal transformation. Initially drawn to yoga through fitness and meditation, he soon discovered its deeper potential to connect mind, body, and breath.

    With training in both traditional and contemporary styles and a self-guided study of human sciences, Carter’s approach prioritizes the individual’s internal experience over external form. His teaching is authentic, meditative, and exploratory—inviting students to meet their edge with curiosity and courage.

    Carter’s classes are an invitation to connect inward, move with intention, and leave feeling grounded, empowered, and more fully yourself.

    Albina Rippy

    Teacher

    Albina Rippy, a Forrest Yoga Guardian and Mentor Teacher, brings decades of experience and a depth of presence to every class she leads. Blending the intelligent structure of Forrest Yoga with the stillness of meditation, she guides students to quiet the mind, deepen the breath, and reconnect to their inner strength and potential.

    Albina has built vibrant yoga communities, led international retreats, and trained thousands of teachers around the world. Her journey has included teaching at The White House and studying with visionaries like Dr. Joe Dispenza, Tony Robbins, and Baron Baptiste. Her teaching continues to empower students to live fully, boldly, and beyond their limits.

    Roger Rippy

    Teacher

    Roger has been teaching yoga and meditation since 2008 and practicing since 2000. With advanced training under Ana Forrest, Baron Baptiste, and Rusty Wells, he blends Forrest Yoga and Bhakti-infused vinyasa into breath-focused, intention-driven classes that challenge and uplift students.

    A former owner of seven yoga studios in Houston and a retreat center in Taos, Roger has shared yoga in diverse settings, including schools, prisons, and even the White House. He holds an E-RYT 500 in both Forrest Yoga and Baptiste Power Vinyasa and is currently navigating the advanced practice of fatherhood with his two teenage daughters.

    Leah Cullis

    Teacher

    Leah Cullis is a seasoned yoga teacher, holistic wellbeing coach, internationally published author, and devoted mother. Known for her empowering blend of strength, surrender, and celebration, Leah’s classes inspire students to explore their practice with intention and joy while building strength, focus, and flexibility.

    With a distinguished career in yoga and wellness, Leah has led programs at the White House (2009–2016), graced the cover of Yoga Journal, and authored Power Yoga: Strength, Sweat, and Spirit, translated into five languages. She is the founder of Empowered Yoga School and has guided countless students through trainings, workshops, and coaching programs.

    Leah’s teaching emphasizes alignment, wholeness, and living with ease, making timeless practices accessible for modern life. Above all, her greatest joy is being a mom.

    Onkar Ryan

    Teacher

    Onkar is a seasoned Kundalini Yoga teacher, SNR healer, and intuitive coach with over 16 years of experience. Based in Austin, she is known for her approachable teaching style, transformative 1:1 mentorships, and immersive 7, 14, and 40-day programs that foster healing for the mind, body, and soul.

    Founder of HouseofOnkar.com, an online Kundalini Yoga platform, Onkar also collaborates with leading wellness brands and publications. Her nurturing and compassionate approach inspires students to access the profound technology of Kundalini Yoga and meditation.

    Sacni Gaxiola

    Teacher

    Sacnicte, originally from Yucatan, Mexico, has been teaching yoga in Austin since 2015. With over 14 years of practice and 10 years of teaching experience, she is trained in a wide range of styles, including Dharma Yoga, Progressive Ashtanga, Rocket Vinyasa, Ghosh Yoga, and Bikram Yoga.

    Believing yoga is a practice of love and compassion, Sacnicte creates a safe, open space for students to explore diverse traditions and connect with their higher selves. She brings kindness, receptivity, and warmth to every class. Sacnicte is also a proud mom to her son, Carlitos and three yorkies.

    Patrick Herr

    Patrick has been practicing yoga for seven years, deepening his daily practice after experiencing its profound impact on both physical and mental well-being. His classes blend intelligent sequencing, hands-on assists, invigorating music, and a playful approach, leaving students feeling empowered, energized, and connected to their inner strength.

    An active part of the hOM community, Patrick has assisted with Morgan’s Half Day Retreats, Handstand Workshops, and international retreats. A dedicated student of Morgan and Carter, he brings a deep passion for the practice and a commitment to fostering growth in every class he leads.

    Hannah Charles

    Teacher

    Hannah’s yoga journey began as a way to relieve stress and stay active but soon became a transformative lifestyle. She discovered how yoga fosters presence, self-trust, and confidence, inspiring her to share these benefits with others. In 2021, she completed her 200-hour teacher training at Practice Yoga Austin.

    In Hannah’s classes, expect a slow, intentional flow with a focus on breath, alignment, and mindful movement. She leads at a steady pace, encouraging students to get out of their heads and into their bodies. Believing that movement is medicine, Hannah creates a welcoming space for all, offering modifications to make each class accessible.

    Her goal is to inspire students to be present, cultivate kindness, and embrace self-love—both on and off the mat.

    David Ahmuty

    Teacher

    A software engineer at Google and dedicated meditator, Dave has always felt most connected in moments of stillness and silence, especially in nature. He believes meditation helps clear the mind, create inner space, and cultivate openness and clarity in daily life.

    At hOM, Dave offers a space to slow down, reconnect, and embrace simplicity, guiding others in the practice of mindfulness and self-awareness.

    Anika Carlson

    Teacher

    Anika has always been drawn to movement—whether through sports, running, or group fitness, staying active has always been her way to release tension, reset, and reconnect. A little over a year ago, she turned that passion into purpose by pursuing her Pilates certification, starting with reformer training and then expanding into mat Pilates. Since then, she has fully immersed herself in the practice, teaching over 400 classes in the past year.

    Her teaching blends the mindful flow of yoga with the strength-building power of functional movement. She believes Pilates offers the best of both worlds: a chance to move with intention, build strength, improve posture, and quiet the mind.

    Expect challenging sequences, intentional cueing, and Anika’s sunny energy—she’ll have you sweating and smiling by the end of class.

    Brett Haginas

    Teacher

    Brett is a yoga teacher and birth doula based in Austin, known for her compassionate and playful teaching style. With over a decade of study, she weaves philosophy, intelligent sequencing, and gentle humor into each class—creating space for self-inquiry and joy. She leads trainings, workshops, and mentorships both locally and internationally, and teaches at St. Edward’s University.

    Brett holds over 600 hours of certification in diverse modalities including trauma-informed yoga, prenatal, restorative, and Ayurveda—making her offerings both skillful and deeply inclusive.

    Jenn Spry

    Teacher

    Description gJenn first rolled out her yoga mat in 2008 at a gym in NYC just looking for a good workout and has been practicing ever since.  She found that yoga taught her the patience, presence and strength that she needed and now her goal is to share that with her students. She began teaching as a Sculpt Instructor and shortly after took off to Bali to get her 200 RYT where she stayed and taught on the Island of Gili Meno. Jenn is an avid traveler and is always up for an adventure.  She loves both attending and hosting yoga retreats as a way to recharge, reconnect, and create community.

    Whether you're stepping on the mat for the first time or diving deeper into your practice, her consistency and down-to-earth vibe will make you feel supported, challenged and right at hOM.

    Kiana Ochoa

    Teacher

    Kiana is an experienced yoga teacher (500hr ERYT & YACEP) born and raised in Austin, Tx. Her yoga journey began after years in competitive sports. While movement had always been a constant, yoga offered something deeper—an experience of connection that was grounding, healing, and embodied. Her first teacher training, rooted in the Sri Vidya Himalayan tradition, ignited a life long passion for studying and practicing Yoga and Ayurveda. She draws from the vinyasa krama system to guide purposeful, intelligently sequenced classes that blend functional and dynamic movement with philosophy and somatic awareness.

    Alongside asana, she facilitates restorative sound healing journeys that invite relaxation and deep rest. Beyond the studio, she has played a key role in opening yoga spaces, building thriving communities, and leading teams with heart. When she’s not teaching, she’s likely DJing, taking photos, or out in nature.

    JJ Ruescas

    Teacher

    JJ Ruescas is a Bolivian-born Human Optimization Strategist known for his dynamic, research-driven approach to human performance. With a focus on physiology, psychology, and emotional fitness, JJ developed the “HumanOps Framework”—a multidisciplinary system blending breathwork, trauma-informed practices, leadership, and nervous system regulation.

    His journey began at 4,000 meters in La Paz, where altitude sickness sparked a lifelong exploration of breath as a tool for transformation. JJ has since become a breathwork specialist and educator, integrating superventilation, functional, and athletic techniques to elevate daily wellbeing and mental clarity. His workshops—ranging from emotional resilience to burnout prevention—are immersive, practical, and rooted in deep somatic wisdom.

    JJ’s style is bold, intuitive, and empowering, guiding others to access peak performance through inner regulation and embodied leadership.

    Maria Trest

    Teacher

    Maria has been practicing yoga for seven years and has always had a passion for fitness and music. After she earned her Yoga Sculpt certification, she knew she wanted to deepen her physical and spiritual yoga practice and traveled to Bali, Indonesia in 2023, where she spent time immersing herself in yoga history and philosophy, earning her 200-hour E-RYT. 

    She firmly believes in the power of mind-body connection, breathwork, and music to bring students deeper into their practice, find clarity, and tap into the strongest, most authentic version of themselves.

    Saylor Troop

    Teacher

    Saylor’s yoga journey began at just 16 when she completed her first 200-hour vinyasa training through Create Karma in Pennsylvania. With a background in mobility and a deep curiosity about the body, she was drawn to the empowering balance of strength, mindfulness, and freedom found in both yoga and Pilates. Since then, she has earned her 500-hour certifications in both Power and Vinyasa Yoga, along with additional training in Sculpt and Mat Pilates.

    Originally from Lancaster, PA, Saylor moved to Austin in late 2023 and found her home studio community at hOM Yoga. Her classes blend intentional movement with focused strength, encouraging students to move with purpose, reconnect with their bodies, and build confidence from the inside out. Expect an uplifting, supportive space that invites growth—on and off the mat.

  • Cole Jakob

    Teacher

    Cole is a yoga teacher and Thai massage bodyworker with 1,000 of training in yoga, massage and meditation. He has a background in collegiate athletics and corporate work, so he knows a thing or two about tight hamstrings and hip flexors. He lived in India and Thailand for a year while studying yoga and massage. He just returned to Austin in 2025 and is excited to teach in this community.

    His classes are challenging, supportive and heart centered. Feel free to come share your practice with Cole.

  • Diana Paschal

    Teacher

    Diana Paschal is an E-RYT 500 yoga teacher and somatic coach based in Austin, known for her grounded yet mystical approach to embodiment. Blending Vinyasa, Katonah, Iyengar, breathwork, and somatics, she offers accessible practices that awaken insight and harmony through the body.

    With over a decade of experience, Diana brings depth, clarity, and compassion to her teaching. She’s trained with visionaries like Rodney Yee, Colleen Saidman, and Nevine Michaan, and has led countless teacher trainings and therapeutic sessions for diverse communities—from teens and cancer patients to corporate leaders and artists.

  • Lauren Loy

    Teacher

    Lauren has been teaching and practicing yoga and meditation for over 13 years and holds a 500 hour RYT certification and is finishing graduate school at Buddhist college, Naropa, for Mindfulness based Transpersonal Psychology. She has done meditation trainings with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. 

    Lauren teaches a mindful, dynamic flow that feels like a dance, syncing breath to movement with empowering music. She weaves in teachings from her lineage from Claudia and Thomas Castro- Leverett, Jonny Kest, Jivamukti, and Ashtanga. She will offer up a short themed message for you to incorporate on and off the mat, as well as, chanting mantra with harmonium. Expect space to experience silence for you to go within and have your own practice, with community.

  • Meg Lewis

    Teacher


    Meg’s journey with Pilates began over two years ago when she started teaching on contemporary reformers, quickly discovering a deep passion for the practice. Since then, she has expanded into mat Pilates, drawn to its accessibility for all and its powerful connection between movement and mindfulness.

    Currently pursuing a master’s degree to become a mental health therapist, Meg brings a holistic lens to her teaching—believing that strengthening the body also strengthens and grounds the mind. Her classes are thoughtfully designed to both challenge and support you physically and mentally, with a strong emphasis on the mind-muscle connection.

    You can expect grounded, purposeful movement, inclusive energy, and a space where every body is welcome. You’ll leave class feeling strong, supported, and proud of what you’ve accomplished!

  • Meghan Simoens

    Teacher

    Movement has always been a central part of Meghan's life. She grew up dancing and later transitioned into teaching dance and barre before discovering her love for Pilates. She did her Pilates training through Balanced Body, and what started as a personal practice quickly became a passion to help others feel stronger, more connected and at home in their bodies.

    Meghan believes that movement is more than just physical; it’s a tool for grounding, presence, and mental well-being. She loves teaching classes that are thoughtful, supportive, and challenging.

    Outside of the studio, you can find her baking sourdough, riding her bike around Austin, or spending time with her senior pup, Koda.

  • Tori Pentas

    Teacher

    This teacher sees yoga as a gateway to union—between body and mind, breath and awareness, movement and meaning. A lifelong athlete, they believe the path to presence begins with embodiment, using physical practice as a lens to understand the Self. Their classes invite students into rich, intimate experiences—where intelligent sequencing, evocative music, and deliberate breathwork create space for clarity, transformation, and connection.

    With every session, they offer more than poses—they offer a journey toward radical presence, one where students leave feeling more whole, more themselves. Grounded yet expansive, their teaching is an offering of reverence for a lineage that holds the power to shift lives from the inside out. Their style is deeply intuitive, emotionally resonant, and crafted to awaken the sacred intelligence within.

  • Livy Holmes

    Teacher

    Livy Holmes found her love for yoga and pilates early on in her life and it has opened doors she never imagined. After earning her 200-YTT certification in 2019 at age 16, she’s been sharing her passion for teaching ever since. Experienced in several styles such as Vinyasa, Hot 26, and even Aerial Yoga. Having collaborated with companies such as Nike and Powder Mountain she has been involved in a variety of projects and looks forward to continuing to evolve!

    Pilates is where Livy is able to explore with the combination of classical and modern movements. With a strong emphasis on intention and breath, she invites her students to find deeper connection within. Her passion is the body’s ability to heal from movement through rehabilitation methods. This blend compliments her teaching style as she focuses on building upon a strong foundation. 

    Livy prioritizes each students experience in the studio and ensures you feel challenged with a smile on! She can’t wait to see you all on your mats!

    Clifton O’Hare

    Meet Clifton—better known as Cliff —the heart and soul of hOM. A loyal and loving Border Collie, Cliff brings his calming presence and warm energy to the studio, often offering his unique paws on assists or gently nudging you into relaxation.

    Cliff is a regular in yoga classes and loves to join students in their practice—don’t be surprised if he graces your mat during class to say hello! When he’s not spreading joy in the studio, he enjoys herding, finding the perfect stick, and long walks on the greenbelt. Cliff’s peaceful yet playful energy reminds us all to stay present, connect with our hearts, and embrace the joy of the moment.
